Pool Alum Powder Africhem Aquasheen 2Kg

THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO COMMONLY CALLED ALUM POWDER. TO CLEAN VERY DIRTY POOLS. SETTLE ALL DIRT ON THE BOTTOM AND VACUUM TO WASTE THE NEXT DAY.

Africhem aqua sheen flocculant clears extremely cloudy or muddy water:

Contents: Aluminium Sulphate

PRECAUTIONS:

Take care in the handling and storage of this chemical. Do not mix with any other chemicals. Always add the chemical to the water and not the water to the chemical. Store in a cool and dry place. Keep away from children.

FIRST AID:

For skin: wash thoroughly with water and soap. For eye irritation: rinse eye out with copious amounts of water. If swallowed: drink lots of water and seek medical attention.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

For optimum results,ensure that PH level is 8.0. Balance to optimum ph by either adding Africhem pool acid, or AFRICHEM BOOST & BUFFER to decrease or increase the ph level.

Switch off the pump and remove the automatic pool cleaner, Predissolve AFRICHEM AQUA SHEEN in a bucket at a ration of 1kg to a bucket of warm water. Pour the solution evenly over the pool surface. Switch the pump to bypass/circulate for approximately 8 hours and turn off the pump. Allow 24/36 hrs for the matter to settle on the pool floor before vacuuming. Set the filter to “Waste” bypassing the filter and manually vacuum the sediment. If any matter is resuspended, allow at least 24 hours resettle before revacuuming, staining may occur if the waste is not vacuumed up within 48 hours.

After use of AFRICHEM AQUA SHEEN retest the PH level of pool water and adjust to optimum range of 7.2 ,7.6 if necessary.
