Product Description:

WaterWell Metal Out is a specially formulated product designed to remove and prevent metal stains in your swimming pool. It effectively targets metals such as Copper, Iron, and Manganese, which are common causes of pool surface staining and scaling on electrodes.

Usage Instructions:

1. For Discolored Water: Use 250ml per 10,000 liters of pool water for each 1ppm of metal content. Adjust dosage based on metal concentration.
2. For Stains: Apply 250ml of Metal Out directly to stained areas. Brush daily for 4-7 days.
3. Maintenance: If metals are present in source water, use a weekly maintenance dose of 25ml per 10,000 liters.
4. General Application:
   • Turn off automatic pool cleaner.
   • Set filter to circulate/bypass.
   • Pour Metal Out around pool edges.
   • Circulate for 8 hours, then adjust pH if needed.
   • After 5 days, shock treat with Sudden Shock.
   • Run filter for 24 hours.
   • If residue settles, vacuum to “Waste”.
   • Resume normal pool care routine.

When to Use Metal Out:

• When water exhibits a green tint due to algae.
• If water turns brown upon chlorine addition.
• When using borehole water regularly.
• To treat scale build-up on salt chlorinator electrodes.
• Recommended at the start of the season for all pools.

General Pool Care Tips:

• Ensure optimal filtration system performance.
• Maintain pH levels: 7.2-7.6 for Marblite pools, 6.8-7.2 for Fibreglass pools.
• Keep chlorine levels at 1-3ppm.
• Regular shock treatment with Sudden Shock in extreme conditions.
• Regularly clean pump and weir baskets.
• Brush pool walls and floors weekly.
• Maintain Total Alkalinity at 80-120 ppm.

Precautions:

• Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
• Avoid skin and eye contact.

First Aid:

• Skin: Rinse with cold water.
• Eyes: Flush with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
• Ingestion: Drink plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately.

Note: Metal Out is designed to remove metals in solution but may not remove existing surface stains.
