Please note, the replacement of the pump shaft seals should ideally be done by a professional. However, if you choose to replace the seal yourself, please follow these steps:

1. Shut down the pool pump motor and disconnect its power supply.
2. Open up the pump housing by unscrewing the bolts.
3. Remove the impeller by unscrewing the impeller cover and the impeller itself.
4. Unscrew the seal plate bolts and remove the seal plate.
5. Gently pull out the old seal spring and gasket, then slide out the old seal.
6. Clean the area and install the new seal assembly, being careful not to get any dirt or grease on the new seal.
7. Screw the seal plate back in.
8. Replace the impeller and the impeller cover.
